a seasoned association executive with extensive management experience, as its new executive director.

In her role as executive director, Lopinsky works directly with the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and staff to continue the 122-year old mission of the Federation, balancing the unique history and reputation of the organization with the changing needs of communities and interests of women and volunteers across generations. As the chief staff officer, she is responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of our mission and financial objectives.
Lopinsky most recently was employed as a consultant in the proposal preparation industry. Previously, she served more than four years as the executive director of the Alexandria-based Public Risk Management Association, and more than seven years as the executive director of the Foundation for Rural Service in Arlington, Va. She also was director of global marketing and membership development for the Association of Corporate Travel Executives. In addition, Lisa has held positions in the banking and government consulting industries. She has diverse and extensive experience in association and foundation management, public affairs, marketing and communications, fund raising, event management, and membership development.
A native West Virginian, Lopinsky holds a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and is a Certified Association Executive.
