GFWC - Help with Online Reporting

Help with Online Reporting

To help GFWC members learn the online reporting system, we created the Guide to Online Reporting. In addition, below are some of the most common issues our users are having with GFWC's online reporting tool, and the explanations/answers for them.

  1. Do not click BACK on your browser window. At no time should you click the BACK button on your browser, no matter where you are in the reporting process. This is the most common problem leading to the Fatal Error screen.
  2. Use the online report feature only once. You do not need to complete a new form for each program area. Instead, in Section 4, check the box for each area for which you'd like to report. Reporting sections will open below Section 4 for each box you've checked. This saves you time, as you only have to complete your contact information once.
  3. Once you opt to save your report, you must always access your report from the Resume a Previously Saved Form function, rather than simply going back to your original report and continuing to add information. This form does not function like Microsoft Word or other word processing programs, where you can pause, save, and then continue. Once you have saved this form once, you must go through the RESUME process to continue.
  4. If your password is re-set by GFWC, you must continue to use the new password. You cannot set a new password the next time you access your form--the report system will only recognize the password set by GFWC.
  5. Printing your report is encouraged. You should do this after you go to the confirmation screen but before you click on SUBMIT. If you fail to print at this point, you can print the copy that is sent to your e-mail address.

If your question or issue is not addressed below, please contact GFWC Program Assistant Marin Aurand by e-mail; we will research the issue and add it to this list, as well as send you a return e-mail with the best tactic for resolving the issue.
