Disaster Relief Funds
GFWC has a significant history of generosity when natural or manmade disasters devastate communities. Recent relief efforts have responded to the 2005 Katrina and Rita hurricanes, the 2004 tsunami disaster, and the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Specific relief funds accept donations from GFWC members, friends, and supporters. GFWC coordinates distribution to state federations, partner organizations, or to direct relief organizations as needed.
Through these programs, members of GFWC are able to reach out, encourage, and assist members and communities in their time of need.
