All meeting participants are responsible for making their own travel reservations to and from the Washington, D.C., area as well as securing their own hotel reservations at the Key Bridge Marriott. Reservations need to be made by August 12, 2008, in order to secure the group rate of $169 night (plus applicable taxes).
Guest Room Amenities
The Key Bridge Marriott is a nonsmoking hotel that offers spectacular views of downtown Washington, D.C., and easy access to Georgetown and area’s Metro (subway) system. Each guest room features the Experience Revive–the new bed from Marriott, an entertainment center with remote TV, in-room coffee and tea, daily newspaper delivery, high-speed internet for $9.95 each day (which also provides wireless access in the lobby), large writing desk, individual climate control, iron/ironing board, and hairdryer. Rooms are also equipped with three phones with modem ports, speakerphone, and voicemail. There are safe deposit boxes available through the front desk.On-site Guest Services
Key Bridge Marriott offers guests access to their on-site business center with copy, fax, and overnight delivery and pickup services, fitness center, gift shop with Starbucks coffee, and newsstand. In addition, the hotel provides two on-site locations for dining. Revival serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is open daily. Connexions is open for lunch and dinner providing an intimate, comfortable private setting for cocktails and light fare. Given the central location, there are many restaurants within walking distance as well. Room service is also available 6:00 a.m. to midnight
TRAVEL INFORMATION
You have a choice of flying in to any of the Washington area airports for this meeting: Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Reagan Washington National Airport, or Washington Dulles International Airport, with the closest airport being National Airport.
Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI)
BWI Airport is located approximately one hour from Washington, D.C. Shuttle service is provided by SuperShuttle (1-800/258-3826 or 1-888/826-2700). The cost is $46 each way plus a $1 fuel surcharge per person (each additional person in the party-up to seven-pays $12 each). Reservations are not necessary for your pick-up from the airport, but are required for your return to BWI (24-48 hours prior to your pick-up time). SuperShuttle counters (open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.) are located near baggage claim #1 (Southwest Airlines Terminal–Concourse A) and the other is near baggage claim #10 (Concourse C). A taxi cab from BWI to Key Bridge Marriott is approximately $90 plus tip, each way.Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
Located less than 10 minutes from the Key Bridge Marriott, Reagan Washington National offers scheduled flights on numerous of U.S. carriers. For transportation between the airport and the hotel, you may use Metro (Take the blue line from National Airport to the Rosslyn Station) or take a cab or shuttle to the hotel. The cost for a taxi is between $11-$15 plus a $1.75 airport fee and applicable fuel surcharges depending on the time of day and number of passengers plus tip, each way. SuperShuttle (1-800/258-3826 or 202/296-6662) also offers transportation to and from the airport at a price of $13 each way (each additional person in the party-up to seven-pays $10 each). Follow signs for Ground Transportation to SuperShuttle boarding area, curbside at each terminal. A uniformed Guest Service Representative will assist you between 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Reservations are not necessary for your pick-up from the airport, but are required (24-48 hours prior to your pick-up time) for your return.Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Dulles International Airport is located in Virginia, approximately 45 minutes from the hotel. SuperShuttle offers service between the airport and the hotel for $26 each way. Follow signs toward Ground Transportation/Shared Ride Vans. SuperShuttle counters are open 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and are on the lower level, just before the exit. When your ticket number is called, proceed outside. Reservations are not necessary for your pick-up from the airport, but are required (24-48 hours prior to your pick-up time) for your return. A taxi cab from IAD to Key Bridge Marriott is approximately $55-$65 plus tip, each way.
