Empowering Women...One by One
Nearly 1,100 clubwomen and friends attended the 2007 Annual International Convention. Here are some highlights from the meeting:
- 711 attendees were voting delegates
- 1005 attended one or more of the 10 workshops offered
- 33 Incoming Region Presidents, State President and State Directors of Junior Clubs attended the pre-convention ILTS Meeting
- 46 attended the Leadership Education and Development Seminar
- More than $30,000 was collected for the GFWC 1734 Entryway Way Project
- $5,210 was collected by GFWC attendees in the 6th Annual Service Project and will be used to help women and children that have suffered domestic violence in the state of Pennsylvania
- More than 600 members and guests purchased items from GFWC Booth in the Exhibit Center
- 99 percent of attendees took useful information home to their club, district, state and region
In addition, 95 percent of attendees plan to attend the 2008 Annual International Convention in Chicago. We hope to see you there too!
