2013 Women's History Month Event

What:  GFWC Annual Women’s History Month Event

Join GFWC for our annual Women’s History Month event on Wednesday, March 13, at GFWC Headquarters in Washington, D.C. This year’s program features Lisa Kathleen Graddy, deputy chair and curator of the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s Division of Political History, who will discuss the museum’s upcoming exhibition, Woman’s Suffrage Parade, 1913. Network with fellow clubwomen, GFWC partners, and friends while enjoying light refreshments, including cupcakes from Sprinkles®, the original cupcake bakery.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Lisa Kathleen Graddy has worked at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History since 1989 where she serves as curator of the museum’s women’s political history and First Ladies collections. She is co-curator on the gallery exhibition, First Ladies: Political Role and Public Image, as well as co-author of the exhibition’s companion book of the same name. Woman’s Suffrage Parade, 1913 is due to open February 28.
