Community Improvement Contest

Since the 1950s, GFWC's Community Improvement Contest, formerly called Community Improvement Program, (download as PDF) has provided clubs with guidance and recognition for projects that meet the varying and changing needs of their communities. Participation in the contest benefits clubs by increasing membership opportunities, developing leadership skills, and creating public awareness of club activities and GFWC.

For assistance in developing and implementing a successful community improvement project, order our new guide, How to Develop and Implement a Successful GFWC Project.

Club projects that help make your community a better place to live are “community improvement” projects and are eligible for national recognition and reward.
