Membership Services Associate
Description
This is an administrative and technical position reporting to the Membership Services Coordinator. The Membership Services Associate works closely with a team of other Membership Services Associates on a rotating schedule to coordinate the delivery of membership recruitment and retention services through all means of communication and member interaction. The Membership Services Associate (MSA) will work independently, but in close communication with the team, to manage the GFWC membership database, online Marketplace, and in-office reception and mail services.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the GFWC Database, xCatalyst.
- Managing registration for all meetings and conventions.
- Managing subscriptions to GFWC Clubwoman Magazine.
- Tracking all officer information and ensuring all contact information is up to date.
- Fulfillment of Marketplace orders.
- Maintenance of the Marketplace area, including assisting with bi-yearly inventories and keeping the area accessible and organized.
- Tracking orders and fulfillment of them through the online order management system.
- Participating in the Marketplace Development Team to brainstorm ideas for new merchandise and more streamlined order fulfillment processes.
- Participating in and contributing ideas to weekly Membership Team meetings in order to discuss process improvement.
- Responding to member inquiries via telephone, fax, e-mail and mail.
- Coordinating acknowledgement procedures for new clubs, donations, 50-year members, and club anniversaries.
- Processing all incoming mail for the organization.
- Special projects as needed.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Some database experience preferred, but not required.
- Close attention to detail.
- Inventory tracking and control systems.
- Internet proficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Two to three years professional experience.
