GFWC - My Volunteer Year
My Volunteer Year
GFWC WANTS YOU to join our expanding volunteer blog in 2009!
GFWC’s volunteer blog is a hit! In 2009 we’re expanding the blog at www.MyVolunteerYear.org to offer more and various perspectives from club members at all levels of GFWC membership—from first-year members to GFWC Gold Pin holders, former officers and current first-time leaders, Juniorettes, Juniors, Generals, and even Boosters!
GFWC is seeking volunteers to share their 2009 GFWC adventures through photos, blog-style postings, Q&A sessions, live chats, and video messages. You don’t need any technical expertise in blogging, just a desire to share your volunteer activities, outreach, and fun with the rest of GFWC!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Blog volunteers must have a valid e-mail address and must routinely check new e-mail in order to maintain communications with the GFWC Communications & Public Relations Director and other staff overseeing the blog project.
- Volunteers should own or have access to a digital camera and have a general understanding of how to transmit digital photographs via e-mail.
- Bloggers must complete writing assignments according to the published editorial schedule (typical timeline consists of one entry every 10-14 days).
- Volunteer bloggers must be dues-paying members of a GFWC club in good standing.
