Pam Briggs

Pam Briggs began her career as a child welfare worker with the Oregon Department of Human Services in 1984, earning her master’s degree in social work from Portland State University. In 1992, she was honored with a community award for her leadership in serving children with disabilities. Pam has been a member of the GFWC Salem Woman's Service Club (formerly the Salem Junior Woman’s Club) for more than 25 years, serving two terms as club president. She currently serves as the club’s secretary and as executive director of its small nonprofit organization. She is also the Valley District President. Pam has served on the GFWC Oregon Executive Committee since 1996, including as state president, 2002-2004. At the national level, Pam served on the GFWC Board of Directors from 2002-2006 as GFWC Oregon state president and as a member of the Resolutions Committee.
