Remembering September 11th

This September marks the 11^th anniversary of the horrific September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. In a matter of hours, life as we knew it was changed forever. The 2000-2002 GFWC Board of Directors meeting wrapped up the previous evening in Williamsburg, Va., with a heart-warming rendition of Let There Be Peace on Earth. Since that time, every GFWC meeting concludes with the singing of that song.
