Women's History Month Event

What: GFWC Women's History Month Event - Women and Public Policy
When: Thursday, March 12, 2015 | 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Where: GFWC Headquarters, 1734 N Street NW, Washington, D.C.

Join GFWC and the Girl Scouts of the USA in celebrating women’s contributions to history, culture and society at our annual Women’s History Month event on Thursday, March 12, at GFWC Headquarters. This year’s program features an introduction by Teresa Dyer, lobbyist for the Girl Scouts of the USA and special guest speaker Ann Stone, Board Member on the National Women’s History Museum. Each speaker will discuss issues of women in politics and ways to can engage in the legislative process.

Held every March, the free event is a chance for clubwomen and the public to learn and engage with some of the brightest minds in the field of women’s history. A reception will follow with light refreshments and a chance to mingle with fellow clubwomen and locals. RSVP to GFWC@GFWC.org or 800-443-GFWC (4392) by March 6.
