Women's History Month Event

What: GFWC Women's History Month Event - The Iron Gate
When: Thursday, March 13, 2014 | 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Where: GFWC Headquarters, 1734 N Street NW, Washington, D.C.

Prepare to feed your mind as well as your appetite on Thursday, March 13 at our annual Women’s History Month event from 4:00-6:00 p.m., at GFWC Headquarters in Washington, D.C. GFWC Women’s History and Resource Center Manager Brian Coburn will share how GFWC women transformed the field home economics and the restaurant business, and Jenn Crovato, a catering director for the Neighborhood Restaurant Group—the Iron Gate’s managing partners—and author of the cookbook Olive Oil, Sea Salt & Pepper: Healing With Fresh Foods, will demonstrate recipes from her book and offer samples to the audience.

Network with fellow clubwomen, friends, and others while enjoying an informative and entertaining program about the Iron Gate Inn, Washington D.C.’s hottest new restaurant, and a dining destination for local foodies looking for Mediterranean fusion cuisine in a romantic atmosphere.

Light refreshments, including the original Iron Gate Inn Butterscotch Rolls, will be served. Please RSVP either by phone to 1-800-443-GFWC (4392) or via email to GFWC@GFWC.org by Friday, March 7.
