Where is my Region Conference this fall?
Consult the list of all Region Conferences. For additional information, please contact your Region President.
How do I register for the Convention?
It’s easy! The official GFWC Call to Convention appears on the GFWC website at least six weeks prior to Convention. You may read and or download all the pertinent information, including the GFWC Convention Registration Form. Complete this form and return it to GFWC Headquarters by fax or postal mail. You also can register online using the fast and secure GFWC Online Registration Program. A link, with detailed instructions and important information, will be posted on the GFWC website in the weeks prior to the Annual International Convention.
What is the Call to Convention?
The Call to Convention is a publication in the April/May GFWC Clubwoman magazine produced by GFWC and mailed to clubwomen to assist in convention planning. It includes pertinent information on registration, the host city and hotel, travel, Booster information, the Convention Registration Form, the preliminary agenda, special events, speaker and tour details, and proposed changes to the GFWC Constitution and Bylaws and GFWC Resolutions. The Call to Convention is mailed six weeks prior to convention and can be found in its entirety on the GFWC website.
What does my Convention registration fee include?
The full registration fee includes: Official GFWC Convention Badge, Official Welcome Bag, Official Convention Program, GFWC Convention Welcome Reception, admission to the GFWC Exhibit Center, admission to GFWC Convention Business Sessions, and most speaking engagements and workshops.
How do I vote at Convention?
Read the GFWC Bylaws for complete information on voting presentation at the GFWC Annual International Convention. Once you have determined that you are a voting delegate, remember to indicate your voting status and capacity in which you are a delegate on the GFWC Convention Registration Form. Once the GFWC Credentials Committee has verified your voting status, you will be issued two things upon registration onsite: a voting name badge that will allow you to vote on important GFWC Business, and a voting credential card that will entitle you to vote in the GFWC Elections.
I will be a first time attendee. What do I do to attend the Convention?
Congratulations! Attending your first GFWC Annual International Convention is a wonderful and valuable experience. Review the Call to Convention in the April/May GFWC Clubwoman magazine, attend the GFWC Convention Orientation onsite, and know that GFWC staff and officers are here to help you every step along the way!
We look forward to welcoming you at our next GFWC meeting!
