GFWC - Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How are programs developed?
There are a variety of ways in which GFWC programs are initiated. The GFWC President-elect suggests her interests while the Program Director collects other relevant ideas, many of which come from club reports or members. Much thought and discussion goes into creating official GFWC programs, and we are always happy to hear member thoughts on programs we could be offering.

Where can I find information on a specific Program or Department?
You should be able to find all the information you need on various programs and departments in the GFWC Club Manual.

Where should our club report a particular project?
Most reporting questions answers are found in the Frequently Asked Reporting Questions. The questions come from actual inquiries from members.

How do I get on the list to receive bulletins?
Contact GFWC Program Director Pat Nolan by e-mail or call 202/347-3168.

Where does GFWC funding come from?
Funding and gifts-in-kind (e.g. free kits) come from corporations and government entities. All monies are spent on materials, club grants, or other member needs.
