President's Special Project: Domestic Violence

GFWC International President Jacquelyn Pierce has designated the President's Special Project: Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention for the 2006-2008 administration.

By supporting existing activities, working with various established programs and initiating educational opportunities for club members and local citizens, the goal of GFWC's Domestic Violence Program is to increase awareness of the widespread occurrence of domestic abuse. This nationwide program is designed to expand the number of advocates to speak on behalf of victims and provide the help that is needed.
