GFWC holds two meetings per year for its nearly 200 Board of Directors members, consisting of region presidents, state presidents, state directors of junior clubs, committee chairmen, committee members, and special appointments.
GFWC Board of Directors, put together plans for the GFWC Community Service Programs and Special Programs, and create strategies to be implemented in the next administration that will help GFWC achieve the goals and objectives outlined in the GFWC Strategic Plan.

Success For Survivors Scholarship
Each year, GFWC awards scholarships to help intimate partner abuse survivors obtain a post-secondary education that offers a chance to reshape their future by securing employment and gaining personal independence.
GFWC Wake Forest Woman’s Club
The GFWC Wake Forest Woman’s Club, located in Wake Forest, North Carolina, has served the community for over 50 years. From sponsoring the establishment of the Wake Forest Public Library in 1961 to creating the Books for Laundromats program in 2011, members enjoy keeping busy.
