2018 GFWC Annual Convention
June 22-26, 2018
We invite you to join us at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel, located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, June 22-26, for the 2018 GFWC Annual Convention as we celebrate accomplishments, learn about new initiatives, and participate in the advancement of the organization.
GFWC’s Group Rate of $159/night opens on Thursday, March 1. The room block closes on Monday, May 28, at midnight. The Call to Convention will be in the March+April Issue of Clubwoman Magazine, which is scheduled for distribution the second week of March. It will contain detailed information regarding travel/accommodations, agenda, tours, projects, awards, and more. The Call to Convention is also now available online! Hope Royer joined GFWC looking for an avenue to conduct community service. In her 40+ years with the Federation, she has found that, and then some.
Success For Survivors Scholarship
Each year, GFWC awards scholarships to help intimate partner abuse survivors obtain a post-secondary education that offers a chance to reshape their future by securing employment and gaining personal independence.
The Rochester Junior Women's Club
The Rochester Junior Women’s Club (Michigan) was established in 1956 with 16 members, and today has over 70 members that always come together to support one another. The club chooses three or four major charities to support and several smaller ones, donating approximately $30,000 each year. In total since its inception, the club has provided more than 1 million hours of community service, and raised more than $928,000 to support their community!
