Jessie June Flanagan Magee, twenty—seventh international president of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, 1967—1970. During her term, Jessie encouraged clubwomen to become involved in activities ranging from voting to taking a more active role in promoting positive content on television. The "V" for volunteer was initiated as a logo during her administration.
