Community Connections

GFWC incorporated the Honorary Chairmen Program to bring experts in the field to our club members, enhancing and elevating our scope of volunteer work while assisting and furthering the administration’s goals. They are selected through recommendations from members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Over the past administrations, we have been honored to secure Honorary Chairmen in our Special Programs (Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention, and Advocates for Children) and Community Service Programs (CSP) areas (Arts and Culture, Civic Engagement and Outreach, Education and Libraries, Environment, and Health and Wellness), and Advancement areas (Leadership, Membership, and Communications and Public Relations) assisting and furthering the administration’s goals.

Our Honorary Chairmen, with their unique skills and experiences, are not just specialists and authorities in their fields. Their involvement directly aligns with our various volunteer program areas and significantly contributes to our mission of community improvement, inspiring our members with their combined efforts.
