National Wreaths Across America Day

December 18, 2021

National Wreaths Across America Day is December 18, 2021. Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that remembers and honors U.S. veterans who now lie peacefully in our nation’s large military cemeteries and in the small cemeteries that dot our landscape. Wreaths Across America began in 1992 when Morrill Worcester, owner of Worcester Wreath Company of Harrington, Maine, had a surplus of holiday wreaths. Remembering a visit to Arlington National Cemetery when a boy, he made arrangements to place the wreaths at Arlington.
