Share Your Federation Journey
Are you a club president interested in inspiring your fellow clubwomen, or do you know a club president who encourages you to do what you can to give back to others? Our member profile features will shine a light on the great work our club presidents do by telling their Federation journey.
To participate in this project, club presidents will be interviewed over the phone or Zoom for approximately 30 minutes about their background with GFWC, why they enjoy volunteering, and what volunteerism means to them. We want these interviews to be a fun experience and opportunity for members to tell us what they enjoy about being part of this group of incredible women.
To discuss a member profile feature, contact Publications and Project Manager Taylor Fussman.
GFWC clubwoman and 2020 Jennie Award Winner Bridget Murphy has accomplished many great things during her time with GFWC and she has used volunteering to make her community a better place for everyone.
Success For Survivors Scholarship
Each year, GFWC awards scholarships to help intimate partner abuse survivors obtain a post-secondary education that offers a chance to reshape their future by securing employment and gaining personal independence.
GFWC Morgan Park Junior Woman’s Club
Founded in 1934, the GFWC Morgan Park Junior Woman’s Club is perhaps best known for its Work Out to Wipe Out Domestic Violence Benefit Day, which raised over $10,000 last year.
