GFWC Partners With Heifer on Tanzania Milk Project
February 10, 2019
Heifer’s Tanzania School Milk Project is a special focus for GFWC’s partnership with Heifer International. With new milk-processing facilities, there’s now a source of healthy milk available to schools and children who haven’t been able to access pasteurized milk. Through the Tanzania School Milk Project, students in the southern highlands of Tanzania receive nutritious, packaged milk–empowering them to focus on learning instead of hunger. Every $2 raised by clubwomen provides a week of milk for a student in Tanzania, and just $72 provides a daily serving of milk for one student for an entire school year. Learn more
