In the January + February issue of GFWC Clubwoman Magazine, Johns Hopkins Medicine provides valuable information on the risk factors of heart disease for women. Heart Disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States but there’s a common misperception that it’s “a guy thing.” The article begins by stating that, “Women fear breast cancer more, even though they’re eight times more likely to die of heart disease.
