The Great American Outdoors Act
July 20, 2020
GFWC has asked its Legislative Action Center subscribers to contact their members of Congress about supporting the Great American Outdoors Act. The bipartisan bill changes the funding formula for the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) which was created to help preserve, develop, and ensure access to public outdoor recreational facilities.
Hope Royer joined GFWC looking for an avenue to conduct community service. In her 40+ years with the Federation, she has found that, and then some.
Success For Survivors Scholarship
Each year, GFWC awards scholarships to help intimate partner abuse survivors obtain a post-secondary education that offers a chance to reshape their future by securing employment and gaining personal independence.
GFWC Woman's Club of Westminster
The GFWC Woman’s Club of Westminster (Maryland) has an annual project that corresponds with one of International President Brock's Seven Grand Initiatives. Every year the club partners with Penguin Random House, one of the area’s publishing houses and distributor of books, to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday.
