Mildred Carlson Ahlgren, nineteenth international president of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, 1952—1954. During her term, Mildred was an advocate for citizenship and community affairs, and orchestrated a national campaign for the restoration of Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
