GFWC High Springs New Century Woman’s Club
Members from the GFWC High Springs New Century Woman’s Club of District 5 in Florida visited Partnership for Strong Families to present them with 24 “Birthday Bags.” They were thoughtfully made by the club to be distributed to children in foster care and families that are receiving support from the organization. The bags contained everything for a birthday party including: hats, balloons, table decorations, toys, and prizes. It wouldn’t be a party without a cake, so cake mixes, icing, and candles were also included! Some of the birthday bags are used by caseworkers to encourage families to spend quality time with their children.
