Message from Theresa Buntyn, GFWC Mississippi State President
I am sharing some thoughts that would help the needs in Mississippi. We appreciate the members of GFWC for reaching out to help us. Here are some ideas from our Northern District Ladies and our State Federation.
You may send gift cards or monetary donations to Becky Watkins, MFWC Treasurer at PO Box 749, Quitman, MS 39355. Or, you can donate via MFWC Venmo Account.
Becky, MFWC Treasurer, and I will distribute monetary funds to the needed communities that were hit hard, Rolling Fork, Cleveland area, and smaller communities that have been hit very hard and need our support. Egypt Road and Wren Road areas are in most need that we are currently aware of, but of course, there are more.

When Robbin Zirkle moved back to the area after grad school, she addressed the challenge many people face as adults—making new friends— by joining the Junior Woman’s Club of State College (Pennsylvania). GFWC provided her a place to connect with like-minded women who shared her passion for community service.
